Trouble shooting - side effects
đĄ Side Effects & Adjusting Your HRT: Whatâs Normal, Whatâs Not â and When to Act
Starting hormone therapy can come with some side effects â and yes, often the first signs are boobs, blues, and bloating. Breast tenderness, a slight mood wobble, a change in how your tummy feels, or even some unexpected bleeding are all common in the first 1â2 months. Most of these settle as your body adjusts.
The key is knowing:
- đ What to expect
- đ ïž What can be managed or adjusted
- đ© And when something might be a medical concern
Sometimes we need to step back from chasing total symptom control, and focus on what feels sustainable. Other times, we can change the type, dose, or route of hormone therapy to find what works best for you.
You donât have to go it alone â this part of the course helps you feel confident, supported, and equipped to troubleshoot when things arenât quite right.
